F.A.Q.

What do I need to bring/wear to class?
You will need to wear long pants, long-sleeve shirt, full-fingered gloves (leather provide the best grip), protective eyewear such as sunglasses or goggles. Over-the- ankle footwear is required as well.

Do I need to have a motorcycle to take the course?
FSR provides motorcycles and helmets. If you would like to bring your own helmet, you may do so as long as it is DOT approved. Half-shell DOT approved helmets are acceptable.

How much does the course cost and how can I pay?
We accept credit card, cash, cashier's check, money order or personal check in the amount of $240. You can also pay with PayPal upon completion of your online registration. Payment and registration must be received in order to reserve a slot in the class. If remitting by mail and paying by check, cashier check or money order, please print out and complete the registration application online and mail to P.O. Box 15901, Tallahassee, FL 32317 and indicate on your application the class date you are registering for. Please note that classes are on a first come first serve basis. If we receive your application and the class date you chose is full, we will contact you and ask that you select another date.

How will I be notified of acceptance to participate in the class?
You will either receive an e-mail confirmation, a letter in the mail or a telephone call.

How old do I have to be to register for the class?
You must be 15 and a half years old and have restricted driver's license. The class is mandatory for individuals under the age of 21.
